PATTAYA, Thailand – Three Indian tourists were rescued by Chonburi Immigration Police after they were found bound inside a house in Pattaya in what authorities are investigating as a suspected kidnap-for-ransom case. At approximately 4:30 p.m. on July 27, investigators from Chonburi Immigration Police’s Pattaya unit, acting on information received, raided a house in Nongprue, Banglamung district. Inside the house, officers discovered three Indian tourists with their hands and feet tied. The victims appeared frightened and distressed. Police immediately freed them, escorted them to safety, and provided initial assistance.
Authorities are preparing to take the victims to Pattaya City Police Station to formally file complaints as investigators continue gathering evidence and searching for those responsible. Police said the investigation is focusing on allegations that the victims were abducted and held for ransom. However, authorities have not yet disclosed details about possible suspects or the motive, citing the ongoing investigation.
