PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya is set to enjoy generally sunny weather with pleasant, cooling breezes, as the northeast monsoon weakens slightly and heavy rainfall remains concentrated in Thailand’s far southern provinces.

According to the Meteorological Department’s latest 24-hour forecast, rainfall across the southern region is decreasing, with heavy downpours now limited to parts of Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. For Pattaya and the eastern seaboard, weather conditions are expected to remain mostly dry, creating favorable conditions for beach activities, sightseeing and outdoor travel.

The continued influence of a moderate northeast monsoon over the Gulf of Thailand is bringing refreshing winds, helping to keep temperatures comfortable, particularly in the mornings and evenings. Daytime conditions will be warm but not extreme, while early hours may see light haze or mist before clearing to bright sunshine.

Sea conditions in the upper Gulf of Thailand are improving, with moderate waves, though boat operators are still advised to exercise caution, especially during occasional unsettled weather offshore.

Across upper Thailand, including the eastern region, cooler air remains in place, contributing to mild temperatures and crisp mornings. Residents and visitors are encouraged to take care when traveling early in the day, as light fog may reduce visibility in some areas.

Air quality in Pattaya and much of upper Thailand remains good, with low levels of dust accumulation thanks to favorable ventilation conditions.

Overall, Pattaya continues to enjoy ideal weather for tourism, with sunshine, gentle sea breezes and cooler air offering a welcome break during the year-end season.
