PATTAYA, Thailand — Pattaya city officials and social welfare agencies continued field operations in Pattaya and Jomtien to identify, screen and assist people living on the streets, while helping maintain order in public areas. Pattaya Deputy Permanent Secretary Panrada Attohi led municipal enforcement officers and special affairs officials in coordination with the Chonburi Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office and other relevant agencies during the latest outreach operation.

Officials conducted initial screening and checked information on rough sleepers encountered in public areas. Officers also spoke with individuals, provided advice and assessed their needs before coordinating appropriate assistance. Those requiring further support can be referred to the Chonburi Protection Center for Homeless People for continued care and assistance.

Authorities said the field operations would continue regularly, combining social support with efforts to keep public spaces orderly, safe and accessible for residents and visitors in Pattaya and Jomtien.
