Residents of 44 Nongprue Sub-district neighborhoods learned how to grow their own limes as part of a project to help residents earn extra money.

Mayor Mai Chaiyanit joined sub-district officials and a member of the Chonburi council at the June 1 workshop, also intended to develop agriculture in local communities.

Mai said the municipality is always working to help residents earn extra income while also learning to follow HM the King’s sufficiency economy philosophy. Growing items like limes in concrete planters that can be used for home use or sale is one method.
