
KRABI, Thailand – A woman was rescued from a mangled vehicle after a pickup truck collided with a Toyota Fortuner in Krabi, forcing rescue teams to use hydraulic cutting equipment to free her from inside the car. The accident happened at around 12:08 p.m. on August 4 at Soi 11, Khlong Ya subdistrict, Ao Luek district.
The Krabi Provincial Administrative Organization’s Narenthorn Emergency Center alerted the Ao Luek Phitak Pracha Rescue Team, who rushed to the scene with specialized rescue tools. Upon arrival, rescuers found a woman estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old trapped inside the vehicle. The team immediately used cutting and spreading equipment to carefully remove her from the wreckage.
After being freed, she received first aid at the scene before being transported to Ao Luek Hospital for further medical treatment. Authorities have not yet released details about the cause of the crash or the woman’s condition. Police and relevant agencies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
