The Chonburi Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office is hoping to develop a prototype Happiness Social City on 667 rai of Ratchaphatsadu Land.
On Oct. 25, Rungtiwa Suddan with the lengthy title, Director of Technical Promotion and Support Office 3, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Chonburi, chaired a meeting at the Women and Family Development Learning Center to plan next year’s social center that would achieve the most public benefit.
She said the new center will be an upgrade to current social services in the area.
Rungtiwa said the project will concentrate on 4 operations: 1. Complete Social Service Centers for Medical Care, accommodations, training, vocational learning, exercise and activity rooms. 2.
Upgrading Children and Family Home, and Women and Family Development Learning Center, and others. 3. Build a Senior Complex for the elderly to live and receive non-free quality services. A process is under study to open a cooperative arrangement between private and government sectors. 4. A building complex and community mall for a joint investment venture with private businesses to reduce government investment, which will use benefits gained to develop people’s quality of life.
The project currently is in the feasibility study stage.
