A French national arrested for suspected drug dealing led police to a Thai couple he claimed were his suppliers.

Undercover police arrested Vincent Philipot, 40, during a sting operation Aug. 21 near a guesthouse on Soi Jeeraphol. He was captured with an undisclosed amount of crystal methamphetamines and 2,000 baht given to him by the undercover cops.

After interrogation, Philipot told police he’d purchased the ya ice for his own use and for resale from Suphaksorn Yoriya, 31. Another sting operation followed and officers apprehended the admitted Beach Road prostitute along with 0.57 g. of ya ice in front of a 7-Eleven on Soi Buakaow near Soi Jeeraphol.

Yoriya took police back to her apartment where officers arrested her sleeping boyfriend Kamphol Khongtaeng, 32, and confiscated drug paraphernalia. All three suspects failed urine tests for methamphetamines, police said. They were charged with both consumption and sale of illegal narcotics.
