Nongprue Subdistrict opened all village health-promotion hospitals to allow Pattaya residents an everyday chance to register for coronavirus vaccinations.
The Mabprachan, Nong Samor and Tanman, Nong Pungkhae health-promotion hospitals and Nongprue Public Health Center began accepting registrations from elderly and chronically ill Thais and foreign permanent residents May 13.
A queue had already formed outside the Mabprachan clinic early Friday. Those with smartphones were shown how to make appointments for vaccinations, while those without the high-tech gadgets were advised to leave a phone number and a staffer would contact them later.
The clinics are open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily during the registration drive.
