Dead baby found in Sattahip dump

Sattahip police are hunting down parents and others responsible for dumping an infant in the Khet Udomsak dump.

Police responded to the garbage center on Soi Khao Petch Feb. 11 after an employee found a dead aborted fetus boy wrapped in cloth. It had been discovered by a junkyard dog who was dragging the child by its swaddling. It had died at least a day ago.

Witnesses claimed that they saw a few men on a motorbike with a sidecar at approximately 3 p.m. the day before who came into the dump and threw away a bundle of cloth that looked like it had blood stains on it before dashing away.

The corpse was taken to Sattahip Km. 10 Hospital for an autopsy as police try to track down its parents.
