PHANAT NIKHOM, Thailand – Police successfully ended a family dispute in Chonburi after officers responded to a heated argument on July 11, using calm discussion and mediation to prevent the situation from escalating. Officers from the Phanat Nikhom Police Station motorcycle patrol arrived at the scene after receiving a report of a disturbance inside a family home. Upon arrival, police found those involved in a heated argument, with some showing signs of intoxication.
Officers assessed the situation and chose to resolve the matter through communication rather than confrontation. Police warned those involved about behavior that could disturb others and encouraged both sides to understand each other and control their emotions. After discussions and mediation, the argument was brought to an end peacefully. Officers advised the family members to rest and avoid actions that could lead to further conflict or violence. Police reminded the public that family disagreements should be handled through calm conversation and understanding, especially avoiding emotional reactions while under the influence of alcohol, which can increase the risk of serious conflicts and unwanted consequences.
