PATTAYA, Thailand – A ride-hailing trip in Pattaya has gone viral after a driver shared an uncomfortable encounter with a couple who continued intimate behavior in the back seat despite being asked to stop.

The Bolt driver, 23-year-old Mr. Bew, said the incident happened on the morning of April 29 in South Pattaya’s Soi Marine area, when he picked up a foreign man and a Thai woman for a short trip to a condominium.

Just five minutes into the ride, the situation became uncomfortable as the couple began kissing in the back seat. Feeling uneasy, the driver said he politely asked them to stop as it was inappropriate inside the vehicle.

However, the behavior reportedly resumed shortly after. The male passenger then told the driver to “just look away,” leaving him unsure how to react while focusing on driving.

Feeling uncomfortable, the driver recorded part of the incident as evidence. He said the couple showed no embarrassment and continued their behavior until arriving at their destination, where they exited the vehicle normally.

Mr. Bew said he initially hesitated to post the clip but decided to share it to highlight unexpected situations ride-hailing drivers sometimes face. He urged passengers to be mindful of appropriate behavior in shared spaces.

He added that while similar incidents have happened before, most passengers stop when warned, making this case unusual as his request was ignored.

The clip has sparked widespread reactions online, with some users finding it awkward and humorous, while others emphasized that personal affection should be kept appropriate in public or shared environments.
