Bang Saen Beach takes on a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere every Tuesday, offering visitors open sands, sea breezes and a peaceful seaside escape.

CHONBURI, Thailand – Bang Saen Beach offers visitors a quieter seaside escape every Tuesday, when local beach operators take their weekly day off but municipal crews continue working to keep the popular coastline clean, safe and ready for visitors. With fewer beach chairs and businesses operating, the beach takes on a more open and relaxed atmosphere, giving visitors space to walk along the shore, enjoy the sea breeze, watch the sunset or simply unwind beside the water. While operators take their weekly break, Saensuk Municipality continues its regular maintenance work across the beach.

Municipal workers trim coconut fronds and remove potentially dangerous coconut clusters to improve safety and keep the beachfront orderly. Crews also collect rubbish along the shoreline to maintain Bang Saen’s appearance and ensure the area remains pleasant for visitors. The Tuesday closure provides a different experience from the busier days, with the relatively quiet beach offering an opportunity to enjoy Bang Saen at a slower pace. Visitors are encouraged to help keep the beach clean by disposing of rubbish properly and taking care of the coastal environment. With municipal staff continuing their work behind the scenes, Bang Saen remains ready to welcome visitors even on the day local beach operators take a break.
