Twenty two

Editor,

In the July 24th issue of Pattaya Mail, Doc Iain wrote a clever piece on the number twenty-two in tribute to your fine newspapers’ anniversary. A better topic could have been a listing of the twenty-two most serious problems facing Pattaya back in 1993, such as traffic, drugs, noise, missing drain covers, flooding, soi dogs, gold snatching, illegal parking, encroachments on public land, vendors, illegal construction, beach erosion, Walking Street issues, garbage, low hanging signs, inoperative security cameras, scams, unsafe over crowed ferries, underage drinking, teenage gangs, jet ski operators, muggings, to name a few.

I am pleased to see that all of these problems have been addressed by city hall… and corrected as promised!
