PATTAYA, Thailand – The Thai Real Estate Brokers Association (TREBA) recently organized its “TREBA On Tour” seminar, a platform for industry professionals to exchange knowledge, analyze market trends, and foster sustainable growth in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) at Dusit Thani Pattaya. The event featured experts from government agencies and the real estate sector, discussing topics including past and future investments in the EEC, foreign direct investment (FDI) incentives, professional roles of real estate brokers, legal frameworks, and the anti-money laundering office’s responsibilities.
The seminar aimed to enhance professional standards for brokers, promote awareness of their role in driving economic and social growth, and offer fresh insights on real estate trends—especially in strategic areas like Pattaya and Rayong. It also encouraged collaboration among investors, brokers, developers, government agencies, and private sector partners for sustainable regional development.
Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet was invited as a special speaker, presenting on “Pattaya: A City of Opportunities in Real Estate and Tourism.” He highlighted Pattaya’s readiness to support regional growth through initiatives such as global tourism promotion, integration with local and tourist police networks, expanded CCTV coverage, flood mitigation projects, 3D signage for Walking Street, the PATTAYA CITY landmark, pier roofing, and improved public utilities on Koh Larn—positioning the city as an attractive and sustainable destination for both real estate investment and tourism.
