PATTAYA, Thailand – Nongprue municipal officers apprehended a person caught illegally dumping rubbish on Soi Nong Mai Kaen 17 on November 7. Acting on instructions from Mayor Winai Inpitak, enforcement officers inspected the area and caught the offender violating Section 32, paragraph 1, which prohibits dumping rubbish in public places. The offender was taken to Nongprue Municipal Office for a fine under Section 54, which carries a maximum penalty of 2,000 baht. Residents are encouraged to report illegal rubbish dumping to 038-249-043 to help keep East Pattaya clean and orderly.
