
PATTAYA, Thailand — Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, Mr. Krissana Boonsawat, presided over a preparation meeting for the upcoming charity walk-run “LOMA RUN ON THE BEACH 2025” (11th edition). The meeting, held at Pattaya City Hall, brought together representatives from the Pattaya Mayor’s office, the Pattaya City Council, Pattaya City Police, Najomtien Police, Sawang Boriboon Foundation, Jomtien Beach chair rental associations, boat operators, and other related agencies.
The event is organized by the HHN Foundation for Thai Children, in cooperation with Pattaya City and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Pattaya Office). It is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Jomtien Beach, Pattaya.
The objective of the charity run is to promote healthy living through exercise, highlight the beauty of Pattaya’s beaches, and strengthen Pattaya’s role as a Sports City while supporting sports tourism.
The competition is divided into two categories:
Fun Run (5 km):
Top 50 male and Top 50 female runners will each receive a dolphin doll (total 100 prizes).
Overall trophies (male/female 1st–3rd places).
Overall LGBTQ+ category (1st–5th places).
Age groups: Junior (under 10 years), 11–19 years, 20 years and above.
Special prizes for 5 children in fancy dress (non-competitive).
Mini Marathon (11 km):
Top 100 male and Top 100 female runners will each receive a dolphin doll (total 200 prizes).
Overall trophies and cash prizes (Male/Female 1st place: 3,000 Baht | 2nd place: 2,000 Baht | 3rd place: 1,000 Baht).
Overall LGBTQ+ category (1st–5th places with cash prizes).
Age categories spanning from 19 to over 60 years old.
Special prizes for 5 adults in fancy dress (non-competitive).
During the meeting, officials discussed logistics to ensure a smooth event, including stage setup, sound system, tables and chairs, traffic management, safety measures, publicity, medical support, cleanliness, and mobile restroom facilities.
Deputy Mayor Krissana emphasized the importance of athlete safety, traffic closures, route signage, and deployment of officers at key points to facilitate both participants and road users during the event.
