
PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Tourist Police stepped in to assist foreign visitors following a dispute over damage charges after a jet ski rental accident, August 4. Officers received a request for assistance from tourists involved in a disagreement with a jet ski rental operator regarding repair costs after an accident occurred during use. After being notified, Pattaya Tourist Police visited the scene to verify the facts and acted as a mediator between both sides. Officers also provided translation assistance to ensure clear communication and that both parties fully understood the details of the discussion.
Following fair negotiations and mediation, both sides were able to reach a mutual agreement, bringing the dispute to a peaceful conclusion. The tourists thanked Pattaya Tourist Police for their assistance, guidance and help with communication, which allowed the issue to be resolved quickly.
