City workers on tractors rolled across a storm-gouged Pattaya Beach to try and repair the damage done by Typhoon Wuthip.

Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome ordered workers to hit the beach around 6 p.m. Oct. 8 after rain had stopped.

Three tractor crews worked throughout the night to level the beach surface so it looks as good as possible for tourists once the sun came up.

Heavy rains wreaked havoc on Pattaya Beach, causing the mayor to send out heavy equipment overnight to get it back in shape in time for the next morning’s tourists.Heavy rains wreaked havoc on Pattaya Beach, causing the mayor to send out heavy equipment overnight to get it back in shape in time for the next morning’s tourists.
