By the time Venus, the planet of love turned retrograde in Scorpio over the weekend, she was over three weeks into what is normally a 24 day chance to update your romantic and relationship desires, hopes and aspirations for the coming year. In that time, Venus had clashed with Chiron, the planet of healing before he left and ended all planetary activity on the relationship front for the year and the Moon has moved through both your romantic and relationship sectors. Even having the Moon in an adventurous part of your chart over the weekend and at a friendly aspect would have been a wonderful way to cap this off. Except, instead of leaving, a retrograde turn won't just keep Venus here for another three weeks, but after retrograding back into a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, she will return to Scorpio in early December, where she will end the year. Meanwhile, as Mercury moves into his first full week in Scorpio, he is doing the same. This is normally a 14 to 15 day chance for the planet of communication to get the communication lines open but instead, a retrograde turn later in the month will keep Mercury here until December.
