The Pattaya Sanitation Department last week was busy cleaning the drainage system on Third Road in preparation of the upcoming (and sometimes current) rainy season.

The workers at the Moom Aroi intersection cleaned the pipes there to prevent obstructed water flow during heavy rainfall, which might lead to floods.

Given recent history of flooding in Pattaya, one can only hope this kind of work doesn’t stop until all drains are cleared.  Pattaya residents certainly don’t need the heavy floods of last year to revisit this season.
