To commemorate the 9th anniversary of the Father Ray Foundation, Father Pattarapong Srivorakul, president of the foundation with the support of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Stability presented 10 scholarships worth 30,000 baht for the 2012 educational year to underprivileged children. The presentations were held at the Redemptorist Center.

As part of Royal Cliff Hotel Group’s yearly CSR program, Managing Director Panga Vathanakul, Vice-President Vathanai Vathanakul and Executive Director Vitanart Vathanakul together with their the management team recently visited the Father Ray Foundation which includes the School for the Blind, Children with Special Needs, the Vocational School, and the Pattaya Orphanage to donate cash, foodstuffs, books and clothing.

BMA Deputy Governor Taya Teepsuwan recently presided over a press conference at the Amari Watergate Bangkok to announce the 15th Amari Watergate & BMW Thailand Midnight Run and the 16th Aerobic Marathon on AIDS. The charity event participants will compete for the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Royal Trophy. Proceeds will be donated to Chalerm Prakiat School; Baan Gerda to support HIV infected orphan children and Baht for a Better Life Project. Having raised a considerable sum of money from their Poker Run 2012, members of the Black Sheep MC Pattaya visited the Orphanage Centre, Tree of Life in Buriram province to donate 40,000 baht worth of goods for the children. Roger Walker, who runs the orphanage exclaimed, “This is a gift from heaven.” A big thank you goes to Nagas MC, Jesters MC, Mad Dog MC, Mai Pen Rai MC, CC Road House and to the kind hearted Max the Aussie, South African Pete Kid and BSMC member Phil Brennan who gave that extra push to raise even more money.
