Police wake the two drugged bar

Two South Pattaya gay bar employees were drugged and robbed
by a Thai man they met drinking after hours.
Police found groggy bar manager Sombun Janmakhong, 39, and an
unconscious 30-year-old waiter identified only as “Aek” at the Full Love Inn on
Soi Bongkot early July 26. Next to the bed was a half-drunk bottle of alcohol
and various mixers.
Sombun told police he and Aek were drinking on Soi Kophai
when they met a man they knew only as “Non.” The three partied until around 6
a.m. when the adjourned to the hotel. The next thing he remembered was waking up
and finding his Apple iPad, telephone and 20,000 baht cash missing.
Hotel employee Suwit Thiptamyae, 40, said he saw the suspect
leave around 10 a.m. carrying a black purse, but thought nothing of it until
Sombun called for help.
Sombun said Non claimed to be a Thai military captain and
provided police with a description.
