The Pattaya International Ladies Club had their monthly
luncheon on Tuesday March 1 at the Amari Garden Wing. The Amari Hotel laid
out a grand variety of foods that were enjoyed by the 60 plus ladies
present.

During the event, Special Events Committee Chair Sandra
Schonherr was available with sign up sheets for the PILC showing of the
Royal Wedding of HRH Prince William and Kate Middleton, which will take
place on April 29 from 3 p.m. onwards at the Pullman Aisawan on Wongamat
Beach.
President Bea Grunwell explained this is going to be a
grand affair with invitations to the general public as well as PILC members
and their spouses. At 800 baht, which includes a welcome drink, canap้s, a
sparkling toast and a buffet, plus the wedding shown on the giant screen,
this should be a day to remember.
Guests are invited to dress smart casually; ladies wear a
hat, or dress in traditional British colours of red, white and blue.
There was a rush on the sign up sheets for this event plus a “charitable”
cruise on Gillian and Andy Thomm’s Yacht with proceeds going to Dek Dee,
which was quickly sold out.
