There was a handful of minor accidents, mostly caused by drunk drivers,
but no fatalities in Pattaya on New Year’s Eve.

Pattaya survived New Year’s Eve with a handful of motorbike accidents, but no traffic-related fatalities.

Despite heavy traffic, the roads were free any serious accidents. Police reported a few fender-benders involving drunk drivers and motorbikes, but none proved fatal.

The death-free New Year’s Eve was an achievement for local law enforcement, which invested heavily in accident-prevention efforts, including rallies and road checkpoints.
