Swiss House opens second location

Swiss House, the well-known eatery tucked away on Soi Diamond off Walking Street, has opened a second location at the former Ole Spanish restaurant on Soi Yensabai.

Swiss House owner Andy Wenger celebrated the opening of the new location Nov. 3 with more than 100 guests joining the party.

Pattaya musicians Georg Hilbert and Kevin entertained with live music while guests enjoyed a sumptuous buffet.

A special surprise was unveiled at 10:30 when famed Swiss musician Andy L took the stage and crooned to fans with his velvety voice. Andy L, a member of the group Dorados, is well known not only in Switzerland, but surrounding countries as well. Guests showed their admiration by holding up candles and lighters while singing along.

The restaurant, featuring a roofed terrace, has 80 seats and large open-air area for smokers where guests can enjoy home-style Swiss, international and Thai dishes and drinks.

The former Ole also offers nine guest rooms renovated to high standards. And the quality of the food and drinks retains the first-class reputation Swiss House’s menu has earned since 1999.

Andy L., in his best form, is always surrounded
by pretty women. Here he is with Pen.
