Dr. Vongsak Swasdipanich, Inspector General of the Interior
of Thailand has been awarded with an Honorary Professorship in Public
Administration by Empresarial University of Costa Rica. An additional award
for Charitable Actions in 2010 was given by Col. Dr. George Reiff and Dr.
Tae Sul Kim of the International Parliament for Safety and Peace from Italy
who commended Dr. Vongsak for his actions to benefit Thailand and its
citizens in difficult times. Nonthaburi Governor Wichien Puthiwinyoo also
recommended Dr. Vongsak as a very skilled and important leader in Public
Administration from whom students the world over would benefit.
Thai Airways International Public Company Limited
joined together with Star Alliance to welcome Aegean Airlines as the 28th
member carrier at a press conference held in Athens, Greece. Pridi Boonsue
(left), THAI vice president for Alliance and Loyalty Management, recently
congratulated Theodore Vassilakis (right), Aegean Airlines’ Chairman, as
Aegean Airlines officially became the newest member of Star Alliance. Also
in attendance was Theodoros Mantzios (2nd right), THAI district manager for
Marketing and Sales, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Cyprus, Egypt, The Balkans, and
North Africa.
