Privy Councilor H.E. Admiral Chumpol Pajjusanont (4th left) recently received a cheque from Pierre Andre Pelletier (4th right), general manager of the Amari Watergate Hotel Bangkok. The funds, which will go to the Phra Dabos Foundation to support education for poor children, were raised from selling the hotel’s longest-ever macadamia nut roulade on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Henry J. Bean’s Bar & Grill at the Amari Watergate Bangkok.


 

Swiss Society Bangkok, founded 1931, recently had the privilege to welcome the two newly accredited ambassadors of Switzerland, H.E. Ms Schraner-Burgener, Swiss Ambassador to Thailand and her husband, Mr Burgener, Swiss Ambassador to Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, based in Bangkok, who accepted a dinner invitation at the Rembrandt Hotel, Bangkok. An executive group from Pattaya City and Banglamung District, including Banglamung District Chief Mongkol Thammakittikhun (4th left); Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome (3rd left); Pol. Lt. Col. Suppachat Piemmanas (5th left), deputy superintendent of Banglamung Police Station; and Sanya Kitsamrej (6th left), president of the Pattaya Entrepreneur Association visited Krittanon Phanomai, aka ‘Potter’, age 3, who is in the hospital after being attacked by an elephant. He is now in Bangkok Hospital Pattaya and doing OK.


Dusit Thani Pattaya teambuilding trainers, led by Waran Chalermrritichai (2nd left, standing), hotel director of administration, celebrate with the staff of Lowe Worldwide Bangkok, led by Abhijeet Dutta Ray (center, wearing dark glasses) after the company concluded its ‘Lowe Planners Day Out’ that involved a whole day of group-dynamic games with the teambuilding trainers of the five-star resort.


Bangkok Hospital Pattaya led by Dr. Anan Lohapttanabamrung (2nd right), pediatrician from the Child Health Center, along with the hospital’s nurse team and International Marketing team, led by Janya, Ariya and Sineenart, recently provided a complimentary health consultation booth for Norwegians at the New Nordic Residence on Pratamnak Road. They provided basic health screening such as blood pressure check and blood sugar testing.


Supattra Jirathiwat (2nd right), senior vice president for communications and image for Centara Hotels and Resorts recently donated funds to Somdej Nanudorn (2nd left), director of the Banglamung Home for the Seniors Citizen on the occasion of the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort’s grand opening, joined by the resort’s general manager, Adrian Brown (left) and sales and marketing director, Nuttapong Janthawet (right).
