A BCCT Eastern Seaboard Networking
Evening will be held on Friday, November 20 from 6.30 p.m. at
Horseshoe Point, East Pattaya. The event is being held at the sand
field so it is suggest that ladies wear casual shoes. Horseshoe Point and
co-sponsors will provide beverages and snacks on a first-come, first-served
basis from 6.30 p.m. All nationalities are welcome and entry is free of
charge; however, all attending must book in advance. Members can book

Pattaya Players are staging ‘An
Evening of Christmas One Acts’ at Lake Mabprachan Resort on
November 27-28 starting at 6 p.m. This fantastic evening of yuletide-themed
theater will consist of the three one-act plays: “Rollin’ In Dough In
Mistletoe”, “An Implausible Claus” and “World Without Men”. Tickets, priced
at 700 baht for adults and 600 baht for children (under the age of 12),
include an “all you can eat buffet” dinner and the three one-act shows.
Please note that tickets will only be on sale until Sunday, November 22,
after that date they will no longer be sold as a final count for the
buffet is necessary. Tickets may be purchased by contacting any board

Dr. Giuseppe Mario Saccone, a
lecturer at Asian University, will give a talk on ‘Concepts and Logic’ at
the North Star Library in Pattaya at 3 p.m. on
Thursday, November 26. Admission is free

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya is
hosting a charity concert titled “A Night with the Diva” on Saturday,
December 12 starting at 6 p.m. and featuring Thai singing sensation ‘P’ Amp
Saowaluck. Tickets are priced at 2,500 baht per person (pay for 9 people
only when book a table of 10) and include a reception cocktail and buffet
dinner from the chef’s selected menus, music from ‘P’ Amp Saowaluck and
Prime Pitch Band from the Philippines, a fireworks display, and a grand
raffle draw with some fantastic prizes to be won. Proceeds from the event
will go to supporting the Baan Amphur School in Sattahip, an 80 year old

The next Pattaya City Expats Club
(PCEC) meeting will be on Sunday, Nov. 22 and everyone is warmly welcome
to attend. The club meets every Sunday morning at Henry J. Bean’s
Restaurant on the north end of Beach Road in the grounds of the Amari Orchid
Resort. The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast
available from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Each week the PCEC has an interesting speaker
to talk on various subjects of interest in an informal setting. The speaker
this Sunday is Ron Weaver. Ron has opened the first indoor mini-radio
controlled car racing shop in Thailand. He will be introducing the audience
to the joys of racing radio controlled models as a new and exciting hobby.
This talk will be followed by the ever-lively and often humorous Open Forum
and an update on the happenings in and around Pattaya. A full report

For the past 28 years the Samaritans
of Thailand have been providing confidential crisis intervention
services over the telephone. The English-speaking unit, Samaritans English
Help Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support to the
expatriate community. English-speaking staff, trained in crisis intervention
will provide active, non-judgmental and empathetic listening services on the
phone. All calls will be handled on an anonymous basis and are free of
