Miss Poland pageant tours Pattaya

Poland is a long way from Thailand, but that doesn’t seem to bother organizers of that country’s national beauty pageant who brought the contestants to Pattaya Oct. 6-7. Twenty-four semifinals visited the Jo Louis Puppet Theatre, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and toured the city as part of a sweep through Thailand that is being filmed and will be shown in Poland on the evening of the pageant’s finals Oct. 24.

Dek Dee early learning centre celebrates official opening

On Friday October 9, Sue Wright achieved her dream when Dek Dee was officially opened. Dek Dee is an early learning centre for 3 to 5 year old children from the Ban Chang area. The school was set up on a charitable basis and with the help of donations from PILC and Jesters, was opened in April 2009.

It’s sweet sixteen for Lamm as he captures 2009 TQ Masters title

Despite the inclement weather of late, the 16th edition of the TQ Masters, Pattaya’s longest established golf tournament, was still able to run almost as smooth as clockwork last Friday and was yet again another resounding success.
