Children from the Pattaya Orphanage and from the Child Development & Protection Center were presented many gifts when Gregor Verpoort (back row, 2nd left), a tourist from Germany, donated goods worth 10,000 baht.

Siripol Yodmuangcharoen (center), under-secretary at the Ministry of Commerce, opened the Summer Fruit Festival 2009 at Central Festival Pattaya Beach. A total of 2,000 tons of fruit will be sold at fair prices at Tops and Central branches throughout Thailand until June 30.
