140 female mariners in Sattahip attended an occupational training course conducted by experts from Bangplad occupational training center to increase their family’s income. The officers learned how to dry flower bouquet arrangements, make dolls and animals from fabric remnants, cook western food and manufacture bracelets.


Pattaya City Hall and Raimon Land recently held a seminar on “Approaches to Bolster the Tourism and Real Estate Sectors in Pattaya” at the Aranda Ballroom of the Amari Orchid Resort & Tower, Pattaya. The management and staff of Kyoden (Thailand) Co., Ltd. held a party at the Cattleya Ballroom of the Montien Hotel Pattaya to celebrate the birthday of and bid farewell to outgoing administration manager Valapha Kaewpradit (center with flowers).


Hard Rockers at the Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe Pattaya, led by general manager, George Hazard (front center), threw a rocking party for the Pattaya Orphanage to celebrate the Songkran Festival with the orphans. They danced and had a rocking meal with the kids to spread the spirit of ‘Rock ’n’ Roll’.


Dr Olivier Meyer celebrated his 50th birthday at the A-One The Royal Cruise Hotel together with Ta, his lovely friend, whose recent birthday was also celebrated. Among the party guests were many fellows from local Rotary Clubs.
