Songkran once again draws huge crowds to Pattaya celebration

This Buddha image somehow makes its way down Pattaya
Beach Road through all the crowds on April 19, the day Pattaya traditionally
celebrates Songkran. Despite the recent political turmoil, the celebrations were
only slightly affected as tens of thousands of revelers took to the streets -
not to protest, but to join in the Songkran water throwing fun.
