Visitors to Bosco’s Irish Pub had a great time at the
St. Patrick’s Day party. Owner Bosco (right) surprised his many guests with
a bagpipe performance from a friend.
Guests and organizers, mostly dressed in green, had lots of
fun on St. Patrick’s Day, the Irish national holiday, recently celebrated at
Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya.
Members of ‘Plauderstunde,’ the German speaking female group, recently held
their monthly gathering at Swiss Paradise. Despite the absence of
Monika Podleska and Marianne Büsch-Biehl, the ladies obviously had a good
time.
Dr. Wuttipong Kittithanasuan recently presided over the
opening ceremony of an art exhibition titled “Fine and Applied Art 2009” by
a group of teachers from the Faculty of Fine and Applied Art, Dhurakitbandit
University. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Suthasinee Noiin
Foundation for Children and Youths. The event took place at the Amari
Watergate Hotel and was attended by (R to L) Apinant Pavanarith, Pierre
Andre Pelletier, Wanpen Jermprapai, Dr. Wuttipong Kittithanasuan, Nichaya
Chaivisuth, Thawanrat Hosajakul, and Suree Rattanahirunya.

raised from the Charity Concert, to Khunying Priyangsri Watanakun (2nd
left), assistant secretary-general and director of the Fund Raising Bureau
of the Thai Red Cross Society, while Saifon Angkanawin (left) looks on. The
money will go to the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, King
Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society.
