Kittiwong Chaisupakij (front left), GM of the Alcazar Co. Ltd., along with his management team, presents 50,000 baht to Pracha Taerat, governor of Chonburi. The fund was set up by the governor to assist tourists who encounter difficulties during their stay in Pattaya. At right is mayor Niran Wathanasathorn.

(Left) The Symphony Wine Appreciation Patrons Club is born. Hugh Millar, proprietor of the Symphony Restaurant reports, “There were 12 of us grouped into threes and each group had to purchase the same bottle of wine priced under 500 Baht and bring them along for us to try. I did a five-course menu and surprisingly we ended up with four quite good wines to try. The SWAPs had a really fun night. We will try to do this on a regular basis. Friends are tempted to come along.”

Geev Andre Bahrampoori, (centre) Mantra’s Operation Manager welcomed supermodel Amy Stems, (left) and Jimmy Narin Apichairak. They were enjoying a lazy Sunday at the Mantra Sunday brunch recently.

Morning Talk, organisers of the E-Tour for Teens activity, which is a special campaign organised to develop students’ English language skills, were on a visit to the Sukhumvit area recently, where Dr. Valerie McKenzie, (seated right) anchor and lead presenter of Morning Talk TV programme and her team were met by Sister Nora Radomkit (seated centre), director of Phraharuthai Patthanaves School and John Caulfield (seated left), Director of Studies from the Inlingua International School of Languages.
