Clubs

The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) will be on Sunday, November 26th. The Club meets every Sunday morning at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant on the north end of Beach Road in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort. The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Everyone is warmly welcome. This week the speaker will be a medical specialist from Bangkok Pattaya Hospital who will provide invaluable advice and information regarding health topics. This will be followed by the usual Open Forum and update on happenings in and around Pattaya. A full report appears each week in Pattaya Mail. Jameson’s the Irish Pub has a host of daily specials including on Mondays fillet steak special, a fillet steak served on a sizzling metal tray with french-fries and vegetables for baht 165. On Tuesday it is the turn of the gammon steak with french-fries and veggies at baht 165. Wednesday it’s deep fried bread-crumbed chicken with french-fries at 165 baht. Tropical Bert’s have been on the hunt for the perfect pork pie and sausage and think we may have found it from a small supplier in Bangkok (as near to a Melton Mowbray Pie as you will get are many of our customers comments). Sunday Lunch has also got better - have as many choices of meat as you wish and if you want more just ask. Events

Gallery Opium, Pattaya announces an exhibition of work by resident & guest artists. This exhibition launches a new season of the gallery’s artists and inaugurates the opening of the new gallery space on the ground floor, as well as its expanding services. Visitors are welcomed to commission art works as well as discuss bespoke framing requirements. The exhibition opened 7 p.m. Saturday November 18 and runs through to Sunday December 2.

Niddy’s Nook is proud to announce a gala event for the night of Saturday, November 25th in honor of the Nook’s one year birthday.
