Announcements
The Charity Club of Pattaya is building a classroom
to house 40+ Children at the Wat Wang Wa School. The school is situated just
outside Klaeng, South of Rayong. Starting at the end of July until the end of
November, with the help of the following establishments, various pub nights
will be held with the proceeds being donated to the Charity Club of Pattaya.
If you love English bars or Irish bars, we have some fantastic nights planned
for you. To start you off, on Saturday July 29th - Jameson’s The
Irish Bar will be the first venue to hold a pub night, beginning at 7 p.m.
Other venues involved in the project are as follows: Witherspoon’s; New to
Pattaya on Central Pattaya Road is Oliver Twist’s; Kilkenny’s Irish Bar;
Shenanigans; and the finale will be held at the home of the Charity Club of
Pattaya: The Queen Victoria Inn Soi 6. All the Pub Nights will be holding a
Charity raffle as well on the night. Watch the local press for the confirmed

Mabuhay Diving Club needs diver-volunteers to do

The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club will be
on Sunday 30th July. As usual starting at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast
available from 9.30 at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant n the grounds of the Amari
Orchid Resort. There will be the usual open forum and update on happenings in

New to Pattaya at Tropical Bert’s (2nd Rd opp
Bangkok Bank): every Sunday lunchtime, 1 to 5ish, the U.K. Ex Forces
Club meets, with their first meeting on Sunday 30th July. It matters not
what service you were in, as the idea of the club is to meet over a few drinks
and have a good yarn. Free bar snacks and discounted drinks will be provided
to members. Trips out to local military displays will also be arranged at
cost, such as the River Kwai and Remembrance days at members’ embassies. The
club will also have a charity side that will help our Thai counterparts and

Jameson’s the Irish Pub has a host of daily specials
including on Mondays Fillet Steak Special, a fillet steak served on a sizzling
metal tray with french-fries and vegetables for baht 165. On Tuesday it is the
turn of the gammon steak with french-fries and veggies at baht 165. Wednesday
it’s deep fried bread-crumbed chicken with french-fries at 165 baht.
Thursdays is two kebabs loaded up with beef steak, pork, liver and bacon,
chicken, kidneys, pineapple, green pepper, tomato, onion and mushrooms served
with fried rice on a chopping board for 165 baht. Friday is Fish and chips for
baht 165. All the specials are served with a bowl of home made soup to start

On Sundays Jameson’s the Irish Pub will be having
magic shows starting at 2 p.m. with the PR Magic Show hosted by Dr Magic and
Son. There will be three half hour shows during the afternoon with the
children having their own room in the bar, their own free children’s buffet
attended by staff to look after them and their own magician who will be doing
tricks all day long. There will also be cartoons on the television. In the
main bar will be Pop’s Pattaya All Stars playing acoustic music in a jam
session which welcomes all musicians.
