Strong winds blow down trees along city beaches
Strong winds
from a storm that hit the region last week uprooted trees throughout the city.
Areas most affected were the beachside spots where trees and seating were tipped
over. Monsoon Season is here, and we can expect more wind and rain,

Charges of incompetence and graft flare up over garbage disposal
Garbage talk once again
stirs city council ire
The issue of waste collection flared up again during the
Pattaya council meeting at city hall on July 26 when city councilor Sanit
Boonmarchai sparked a heated debate with his allegations of graft and
incompetence.
Over 100 students from Pattaya schools 3 and 4 were privy to
the fireworks as Sanit lashed out at those he held responsible.

Joy for Mr Loy & Aussie Bob 1
Tuesday the 26th saw over twenty golfers travel to Noble
Place for a medal competition over the B & C courses. This layout and
the conditions plus the caddy & green fee with golf cart makes the value
the best in the area. Friendly staff and an efficient starter made for the
perfect day. Division 2 had the three musketeers; Clark Alexander net 72,
Philip Jacks 70 & Rob Heath net 69.
