A group of International MBA students from the Graduate School of Commerce, Burapha University, led by Suwanthep Malhotra (left), accompanied by (l-r) Siwasuda Puangwattanawong, Apissada Unsuphan and Narongsak Youngputtawong, sat on a panel to prepare to conduct a presentation on the topic of Quality Service and Total Quality Management of the Pattaya Mail Publishing Co., Ltd. The presentation was very successful, as different issues were talked about, including operational system, company’s social responsibilities, strategic development and customer relationship management.


Neil Maniquiz, marketing executive at the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital International Department, recently welcomed journalists from TVBS Taiwan and Renny Gao, TAT Taiwan marketing and PR manager, to promote the state-of-the-art technology at the hospital and to encourage foreigners to receive medical treatment in Thailand.


The Tide Resort, Municipality of Saensuk and Municipality of Sriracha recently held fire protection training for the hotels’ staff and management at the Caribbean Meeting Room at the Tide Resort. Saree Kerdthong, head of the disaster prevention and relief office in Sriracha was the guest speaker. A realistic fire situation was set up for the training, and all had to do their best.


Eastern Seaboard Environmental Complex (ESBEC), operated by Waste Management Siam Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Hemaraj Land and Development Public Co., Ltd recently supported a “New Semester Contribution Project 2005” aimed at distributing stationery to kindergarten and primary students in the Eastern Seaboard region.


Theera Bunnag, president of the Ferrari Club Thailand celebrated FCT’s 10th anniversary with club members at the Sheraton Pattaya Resort. More than 40 Ferraris turned up for the event. The group was welcomed by Sunny Bajaj, MD of the resort, who also happens to be a member of the club.


“Buay” Cheathavuth Watcharakhun and “Gift” Wattana Kumthorntip, M.C. of Mo Show, a Thai television program on Modern Nine TV, changed into transvestites to perform Korean dance and the Chinese Emperor at Tiffany’s Show Pattaya. You can watch “Buay and Gift’s” first show as transvestites on Sunday June 17 at 10 p.m. on Modern Nine TV (Channel 9).
