Mrs. Achana Snitwongse Na Ayudhaya MD of the Montien Hotel invited Emile Van Bellinghen and Walter Bortels to be guests of honour at the commemorative tree planting at the hotel’s Paradise garden recently.


Khun Suvit Vathana (2nd from left), marketing manager of the Royal Garden Plaza, Pattaya, donated part of the proceeds from organizing the Valentine’s event to Khun Apichart Puetpan (center), Deputy Permanent Secretary of Pattaya City. This generous contribution was accepted on behalf of the City of Pattaya and will be utilized as part of the relief efforts to aid the tsunami victims. In the picture, Sarawoot “Aonn” Martthong, one of the lucky Thai celebrities who escaped the killer wave, was also present to witness the presentation.


Diana Garden Resort was the scene of a unique cook out when local and Swedish chefs who included Kenneth, Bjorg Jonsson, Dan Kullbeng, Panita Veerachuving and Johnny Anderson instructed the Diana Group’s chefs in the fine art of Swedish cuisine.


Sutthida Fakkum, communications manager of Eastern Seaboard Environmental Complex (ESBEC) operated by Waste Management Siam (WMS) hands over a computer to Saner Chantra, governor of Rayong province to be donated to the Baan Khao Cha-ang Krom Klong School in that province.


Mrs. Anita Gallop presented David Garred manager of the Dusit Resort Sports Club with 47,000 baht in support of the ongoing Tsunami Disaster Relief Shelter Project under the care of Lodge Pattaya West Winds and the Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya and with the support of various other organisations in Pattaya. The money was raised by Julie Gallop from the Sheffield Area of the U.K. Yellow Pages.
