Pattaya City, led by Mayor Pairat Suthithamrongsawat recently organized a clean up the beach activity on World Environmental Day. The management and staff of Dusit Resort Pattaya Hotel, led by Waran Chalermrithichai the hotel’s director of administration also joined the activity.


Eastern Seaboard Environmental Complex (ESBEC) and Waste Management Siam Co., Ltd.’s Community Fund recently gave support to the Baan Khao Tabak School’s student lunch program, providing a budget of 160 baht/day for one semester. Edward A. Corcoran, president & COO presented the support letter to the schoolmaster whilst students and the community fund committee cheered them on.


Jeffrey Alan Kimble (right), commercial director of Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co., Ltd., presented the grand prize of THB100,000 and the “Spin of Honor” trophy to Adisak Piensa (left), “Heineken DJ Spin on the Beach 2003” grand champion, organized at Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya by Heineken, Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co., Ltd., Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, 95.5 Virgin Hitz of Virgin Bec-Tero Radio and Pattaya City.


Santi-Somjai Jeerapat, personnel manager at Montien Hotel, Pattaya congratulated daughter Jan upon her graduation with a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Systems from George Washington University U.S.A.


The Royal Cliff Beach Resort recently played host to a group of 30 Swiss travel agents on a familiarization visit to Pattaya. Named “Discovery Thailand”, the trip was organized by Thai Airways International in conjunction with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The group was accompanied by Thai Airway representative Nicolas Piatti (3rd row, far left), and welcomed by Royal Cliff Beach Resort’s general manager, Andrew J. Wood (2nd row, far left) and director of marketing & sales, David Holden (front row, far left).


Sunbeam Hotel staff, led by Somporn Nilpothong, HR manager posed with Pattaya City Mayor Pairat Suthithamrongsawat on ‘Environment Day’ at Pattaya Beach Road. The event aimed to raise people’s awareness of the importance of natural resource preservation.
