Pattaya City, led by Mayor Pairat Suthithamrongsawat
recently organized a clean up the beach activity on World Environmental Day.
The management and staff of Dusit Resort Pattaya Hotel, led by Waran
Chalermrithichai the hotel’s director of administration also joined the
activity.

Eastern Seaboard Environmental Complex (ESBEC) and
Waste Management Siam Co., Ltd.’s Community Fund recently gave support to the
Baan Khao Tabak School’s student lunch program, providing a budget of 160
baht/day for one semester. Edward A. Corcoran, president & COO presented
the support letter to the schoolmaster whilst students and the community fund
committee cheered them on.

The Royal Cliff Beach Resort
recently played host to a group of 30 Swiss travel agents on a
familiarization visit to Pattaya. Named “Discovery Thailand”,
the trip was organized by Thai Airways International in conjunction
with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The group was
accompanied by Thai Airway representative Nicolas Piatti (3rd row,
far left), and welcomed by Royal Cliff Beach Resort’s general
manager, Andrew J. Wood (2nd row, far left) and director of
marketing & sales, David Holden (front row, far left).
