New 100 million baht long-stay Diana Garden Resort officially opens

Pattaya’s very first privately owned long-stay visitors’ resort, the lavishly appointed Diana Garden Resort, is now ready to welcome guests. The official opening was presided over by Police General Prasarn Wongyai, advisor to the prime minister.

The Diana Group’s managing director, Sopin Thappajug and all staff, welcomed distinguished guests including Patinya Sootsuwan, Chonburi’s family and juvenile court judge; Manit Boonchim, director of TAT (Region 3); Pattaya’s Mayor Pairat Suttithamrongsawat and more than 1,000 guests who attended a cocktail party to celebrate the auspicious event.

The grand opening ceremonies began when Pol. Gen. Prasarn walked with the flag parade and fired off a laser to officially open the new building with a splendid fireworks display. The grand opening also coincided with Sopin Thappajug’s birthday, and she received a chorus of “Happy Birthday” from the guests.

Once the formalities were over, staff led guests on a tour of the new building, which began construction on February 25th last year.

Set in quiet, natural surroundings in North Pattaya, guests are able to choose from three types of rooms: Jasmine, Orchid and Lotus, Thai style apartments. Each is beautifully furnished with natural materials and decorated with a careful blend of design and color to provide a relaxed and comfortable living environment.

The Jasmine apartments are furnished with every long-stay requirement considered, including grounded power points for secure use of computers and hi-fi equipment. Special facilities are provided for the groups of tourists who are elderly, stroke victims, and disabled persons requiring the use of wheelchairs. Long-stay project contracts are set at 1, 5, 10, 15 years or life contracts.

In the near future, the Diana Garden Resort plans to develop a complete package that includes every aspect of long-term care until such time as the tenant passes away. The Diana Group has contracted with Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital to provide quality care to guests staying at the resort.

During the opening ceremonies, Pol. Gen. Prasarn Wongyai donated funds totaling 211,080 baht to Chonburi’s family and juvenile court to organize activities to help those in need. Patinya Sutsuwan, chief judge of the Chonburi family and juvenile court received the donation on behalf of the organization.
