The Department of Fisheries, led by Dr. Jaranthada Karnasuta (first row, first left), deputy director general, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation (FAO), led by Hiroyuki Konuma (second row, second right), deputy regional representative, recently organized “The First Regional Workshop for the Bay of Bengal Large Marine Ecosystem (BOBLME) Programme” at Vaetiya Room of the Garden Beach Resort Hotel, Pattaya. More then 70 participants from 8 member countries’ and representatives of the international organizations took part in the workshop.
