Dr. Kasama Varavarn, director-general of the Department of General Education recently chaired a seminar at Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel.



As part of their pre-contest activities in Pattaya, the 14 finalists from the Dutchie Boys & Girls 2002 Contest visited Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum. General manager, Somporn Naksuetrong (center) welcomed the contestants to the museum and watched the final Motion Master Simulator show before upgrading the theater into Ripley’s 3D Moving Theater, the first of its kind in Thailand.


GlaxoSmithKline (Thailand) Ltd. recently organized a free seminar titled “How to prevent AIDS” for students of Rajabhat Institute, Phranakhon. Soontree Suriyakrai, HIV product manager at GlaxoSmithKline is seen posing with students and guest speaker, Dr. Winai Ratanasuwan, instructor at Infectious Disease Section, Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.


Kamala Sukosol, owner and president of Siam City Hotels & Resorts is shown presenting a certificate for 15 years of loyal service to Rayrei Moonkhuntod, night manager of Siam Bayshore Resort.

 


Prakorn Srisook (2nd from right) executive assistant manager of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya held a welcome party for a group from Harvey World Travel & Qantas Holiday (Australia) who came for an educational hotel inspection trip, which was co-organized by Tour East Ltd.


Molnlycke Health Care (Thailand) Limited recently held a meeting on “Presentation Skills” at the Lighthouse Room, Ocean Marina Yacht Club.
