Pattaya’s Central Festival Center recently hosted the Fanta Youth Emissary Thailand Contest of Eastern Region, 2002 in a search for the 4 talented and suitable youngsters to represent the Eastern Region to compete with contestants from other regions. Held on October 12, parents, distinguished guests, and a huge crowd of children from various schools attended the event. Australian students welcomed at the Regent’s

Students from Mowbray College in Victoria, together with their teacher Mr Alistair Rayner, fly the flags for Australia and Thailand during their recent stay at The Regent’s School!

The Regent’s School recently welcomed six students from Australia’s Mowbray College as part of an ongoing exchange programme. The students joined Year 6 for 3 weeks and participated in all school activities as well as taking time to visit local places of interest including Nong Nooch and Koh Samet. The group thoroughly enjoyed their stay and were terrific ambassadors for their school and country.

A group of very excited Year 6 students from the Regent’s are now preparing to travel to Australia to spend time with their new friends at Mowbray College. They have been busy rehearsing for a presentation of Thai Dance and Muay Thai which they will perform for their Australian classmates during their forthcoming three week visit. We’re sure they will have a fantastic time and look forward to hearing all about their adventures in Australia on their return!
