Recently, the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce organized a Chamber Luncheon at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. Guest speaker Prof. Dr. Norbert Walter, managing director of Deutsche Bank, Research and chief economist of Deutsche Bang Group, gave a speech on the introduction of the EURO and the enlargement of the EU. The guest of honor was the new German Ambassador, H.E. Andreas von Stechow.

BCCT & Waste Management Siam Ltd. to host networking evening at Shenanigans

The BCCT extends an open invitation to all business people to attend an “International Networking Evening On The Eastern Seaboard” sponsored by Waste Management Siam Ltd. at Shenanigans, Royal Garden Plaza Complex, Pattaya 2 Road, Pattaya, on Friday 7th September 2001 from 6.30 p.m.

All are very welcome to attend regardless of nationality. The main objective is to provide an opportunity for networking for business people based in the Eastern Seaboard area. Waste Management Siam Ltd. is sponsoring beer, soft drinks and some cocktail food on a first-come, first-served basis from 6.30 p.m. All other drinks are at standard prices as will be the beer when the sponsored supplies have run out.

There is no entry fee for this event but only those wearing business cards will be supplied with sponsored drinks and food. Name card holders will be provided on the door.

ATCC & BCCT to hold office training in Pattaya

The Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce & British Chamber of Commerce Thailand in association with First Training present half-day seminars titled ‘Communication Skills for Front Office Staff’. The seminars will be held in separate morning and afternoon sessions on Friday, 14th September at the Royal Garden Resort, Pattaya. Each session is limited to a maximum of 20 participants and will be conducted in the English language.

The seminars are aimed at receptionists, telephonists and other front office employees.

The cost per person is 1,250 baht inclusive of VAT, course materials, certificate and coffee break. Lunch is not provided but there are many eating outlets in Pattaya.
