Universal celebrates 4th anniversary

Patrick Jacob, General
Manager of the Universal Company, (background) with all the beautiful women
dressed in traditional Thai outfits from all periods throughout Thai
history.
Mr. Patrick Jacob, General Manager of the Universal
Company, which makes odometers and speedometers of all kinds, held a fourth
anniversary party for Universal in Thailand.
Revellers at the party were all dressed in traditional Thai outfits from all
periods of Thai history. The oldest costume was a style worn in Siam almost
1,000 years ago.
There was also a Miss Universal beauty contest which was interspersed with
traditional Thai rural games. The winner of the beauty contest was Ms.
Sirinya Jaraspridalap, 21. The first runner-up was Ms. Wandee Thimsaisawat,
24.
Mr. Jacob then said that one of the reasons for the ‘theme’ party was that
Universal has had a very successful first 4 years in Thailand. He said the
main reason for this success was the meticulous work that is
quintessentially Thai. He hoped that all personnel at Universal will take
pride in being Thai.
