Locals nabbed for possession

The Crime Suppression Division arrested ten Thai labourer’s outside their quarters on Sunday, October 20, and charged them with possession of marijuana.

Handcuffed by police to ensure their safety, the potheads await their punishment at Pattaya Police station.
The men were outside their temporary labourer’s quarters, smoking the evil weed, when the arresting officers caught wind of the evil weed’s noxious odour. The complement of officers readied themselves and then stormed in, showing great bravery, and apprehended the miscreant labourers.
In their raid, the police confiscated a bag of marijuana, a bong (marijuana pipe), two wooden boards used for chopping the substance and two cutting knives.
The grass smoking maniacs were then taken to the Pattaya Police Station and charged with possession of Marijuana for personal use. The punishment for this is a fine of 400 baht per person.
