Pattaya will spend 200,000 baht to send city Tourism Promotion Bureau employees on a junket to Kanchanaburi and Suphanburi to study tourism promotion.
The Feb. 27-28 trip will see city workers visit the Kanchanaburi Tourism Promotion Bureau, Srinakarin Dam and the Suphanburi office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Before they hit the road, however, employees had to sit through a Feb. 10 seminar hosted by Deputy Mayor Wutisak Rermkitkarn. Public servants listened to a lecture on “Communication and Services in English” by Burapha University human resources chief, Dr. Chalermsri Janthong.
Wutisak said the junket is aimed at developing human resources in order to fulfill the organization’s management system to adapt to current environmental changes and working as a guideline to allocate resources in order to achieve utmost benefits and push for each agency to excel.
