Road painters show Pattaya drivers the way

City workers repaint dividing lines on Thepprasit Road, the beginning of a citywide repainting project.

Surasak Huasoon
Pattaya drivers will have one fewer excuse for illegal lane changes now the city workers have begun repainting dividing lines throughout the city.
Work on the 1.9 million baht project began Feb. 6 on Thepprasit Road between Sukhumvit Road and the Grand condominium. The 2.7 kilometers are only the first stretch of the repainting project, which is expected to take six months to complete.
City officials said the lane repainting is long overdue. Some streets have not had lanes re-marked for a decade.
