Events

The next Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) meeting will be on Sunday, Dec. 8. Everyone is warmly welcome. The guest speaker will be well known author Dean Barrett who will talk about his latest book: “A Love Story: The China Memoirs of Thomas Rowley.” He will describe how he did his research for this story which takes place during China’s Taiping Rebellion. The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort). The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9 to 11 a.m.

The Thailand World Music Championships will be held in Pattaya from 11-14 December. The contest will be staged at both the Indoor Athletic Stadium in Soi Chaiyapruek 2 and along Pattaya Beach Road and will feature marching show bands, street parades, drum and brass battles and music from individuals and ensembles.
